Pucón

An outstanding internationally renowned tourist center, Pucon lays 110 kilometers southeast of Temuco. The town, at the entrance of the Cordillera in Mapadungun, was founded in 1883 by Don Gregorio Urrutia as a small fort, whose mission was to protect the zone and integrate it into the national territory.

Pucon actually has a population of approximately 13,000 habitants and has excellent tourist services, which, as well as countless natural attractions, which allow an enjoyable stay to its visitors.
